balloon hat festival!
report to school at 11.30am to practise the dance steps once through.
then board the bus to sentosa!
when we reached there, we sat on the floor and started making balloon hats.
i think the situation at that time was quite chaotic.
cos it was going to be our turn to perform soon but we haven't finish making the hats yet.
i was helping leonie and cheryl make their hats.
so when people were already started making their way to the platform, i myself ended up with only the hat without the stem and and the leaf on top.
then i frantically anyhow found some balloons and got yiling and chaylene to help me make.
everything was just in a rush.
we were the last band to perform.
we hurry settled ourselves down and ms sia just started conducting when we weren't really ready yet.
big fun in the sun, feliz navidad, lion king and grease..
we played horribly i guess.
people's hats were bursting while we were playing.
after that, we were suddenly told to burst our own balloons or give them to the children there.
cos we were not supposed to make our balloons now.
-.-'' abit the i made until so xing ku la.
then we made our way to the tent.
ate chicken wing with rice which they provided us.
then all the bands started making their balloon hats.
so we made and made once again.
we got ready and the parade started.
we played and danced and cheered our way to the beach.
we went through the whole procedure like what we did during the rehearsal on wed.
but this time, we really screamed our lungs out.
it was really magnificant sight to see dozens of balloons flying into the sky.
really really nice. =)
at the end of the thing, they started announcing the winning schools for the best balloon hats etc.
like eh? i didn't even know it was a competition in the first place la.
then we, being all so tired, left the place at dusk.

today
tmr i will be going for band camp!
damn nervous!
i was talking to cheryl on the phone just now.
we talked about what's going to happen tmr.
both of us are already scared for noms already.
can't imagine ourselves doing drills, giving commands, got questioned by the seniors and even sight reading in front of the entire band!
how scary! XS
wish myself luck, hope i won't embarrass myself in front of the band again.
but cut aside the noms part, this year june camp will be damn fun!
