went to do cip yesterday.
stacey came late. while i was standing at a corner of the amk mrt station with the tin waiting for her to come, two kind women just came towards me and donated some coins into tin.
haha i think they saw me looking very pathetic standing at one corner there so they decided to donate some money to me.
the first woman was like, "oh, am i the first person to donate?"
i was so surprised that i could only say "err ya. thanks."
haha i realised i could easily ask people to donate money even without making any effort.
hmm then me, stacey, wanyi and liyin went bishan and stationed ourselves there.
it was quite fun and tiring la. you can get to see all kinds of people with different kinds of reactions.
stacey and i concluded that people with kids are kinder.
haha then we decided to slack for a while before doing our work again, and after quite some time, we slacked again.
finally, at one plus, we returned to amk and passed our tins to the person in charge.
well, she wasn't very happy with the amount of money we managed to get. (actually she judged by the weights of our tins.) and she wanted some of us to do extra 15 mins more.
but we didn't want to. haiz.
had lunch with stacey in novena after that.
haha it was really funny to have lunch with her.
after lunch, we ate ice creams.
then there was this strong wind which blew my lovely ice cream spoon away.
haha stacey wanted to take a photo of the spoon lying on the ground.
but a guy walked past and crushed the spoon into bits. LOL.
so in the end, we could only take a photo of a crushed spoon.
HAHA.
i must really thank stacey for giving me some really sincere advice after hearing me out.
things have certainly gone better.

hmm many things have happened ever since school reopened.
we had a new class sitting arrangement few weeks ago. i'm now sitting with shireena and rachel at the second front row. bye to wanyi and shihan the distractors, i'm able to pay more attention in class now. haha XD
oh and chen lao shi is pregnant again. gong xi gong xi. :)
but why must she get pregnant during this period of time when we are going to have our o levels? LAO SHI! :(
and and next week is going to be a more relaxing week with just one ss test and a physics spa.
yay.
oh almost forgot to mention that there was s.h.e concert at the s'pore indoor stadium yesterday.
but i couldn't go. so i felt very sad. :((
but but wanyi kindly consoled me by telling me that s.h.e would still feel proud of me because i spent the day doing charity work. :))

out of curiousity, i went to look for the definition of euphonium and much more about it.
and here are what i found.
euphonium:
a bass horn (brass wind instrument) that is the tenor of the tuba family/ a brass wind instrument similar to the tuba but having a somewhat higher pitch and mellower sound.
derives its name from Greek word
euphonos, meaning "beautiful-sounding" or "sweet-voiced" ("eu" means "well" (understood as "good") and "phonium" means "voice")
