jermaine asked, ''do you know what a mayflower is?''
'erm a flower that grows in may?'
"no, let me tell you a story about mayflower. there was once a flower who had a lover called may. she was very sad when may died one day (she claims both flowers were females) so she decided to name their daughter may too."
haha now i know why a mayflower is called a mayflower. :D
"what you doing?"
"waiting for her."
"what you doing?"
"drinking water"
the other day, i was so deeply amused by the short conversation made among elaine, jermaine and wanyi. it started when the impatient elaine who was anxious to get out class started asking jermaine what she was waiting for. they made such fast and short replies that it sounded like a funny poem. haha
i have an irritating blister right smacked in the middle of my RIGHT palm.
question: argh why must it be on the right not on the left? :(
answer: because my right hand responds faster to changes. so no matter what happens, it's always my right hand which will kena hurt first. haha
thanks to the power what ball la. haiz to think i used to play netball during my primary school days, it's quite depressing that i can't even catch a ball properly now.
it reminds me of the chinese comprehension passage we just did today. it said something about giving up some of things in life is an unavoidable decision which you have to make in your life. well, in my opinion, it should have also mentioned the truth that once you have already given up on something, it is hard to get it back again.
this is one thing i like about reading chinese passages because their contents usually revolve around many interesting views towards life. they often set me thinking about those da dao li, thinking if they really make sense to me or not.
haha i'm a great thinker. i spend half of my time thinking. :D
anyway back to my blister. really painful la.
at first, stupid elaine thought i coloured the big red dot on my palm myself when i showed it to her and she actually went to try rubbing the 'ink' away. -.- act salt to my wound :(
put plasters on it also no use. they couldn't stick properly and just keep dropping off. all my sweaty palms' fault. :P
i get nervous too easily sometimes. i notice my palms will always start to produce excessive amount of sweat in circumstances like trying to keep my balance on the train, doing test papers or writing down notes, talking to a person whom i don't really know or not comfortable with and basically having to undergo all those nerve-racking stuffs.
haiz i'm useless.
haven't really had a good night sleep ever since the start of the week. so i shall have a nice long one tonight. i simply love fridays the most. this is the only day whereby i can finally throw all my textbooks aside for a moment and spend the night watching my favourite tv dramas and have a fruitful sleep. :)
hurr more tests to go next week.
