in a wink of an eye, it is already the last day of chinese new year.
=no more ang baos :(
today was a pretty good day i would say.
some of the guitar members had an unusual mission today.
haha we were to play the songs which the people had dedicated to their friends or classmates as part of the friendship day celebrations.
my group, which consists of shurlene, pauline and myself, performed for two dedications.
played 'dui mian de nv hai kan guo lai' at 9.45am and 'hey there delilah' at 12.45pm.
it was unexpectedly fun and enjoyable!
hugely because the two classes which we performed to were rather enthu and very encouraging. :D (despite the apparent mistakes and screw-ups we made eg. forgetting the lyrics, uncoordinated singing and playing and forgetting the notes/chords..)
but it was also these flaws that made the entire process alot more funny and lighthearted.
i couldn't help smiling in embarrassment and amusement for the next 30 mins or so esp after the 'dui mian de nv hai kan guo lai' performance. haha!
oh man, i dun mind playing for this kind of song dedications every week cos it makes me feel really happy. :)
but sadly, this activity only lasts for two days.
and i have no more business tmr. :(
haha this shall become a pleasant piece of memory in my life.:)
speaking of friendship day, i received a very touching and meaningful msg from evonne last night.
it says:
